Week of 4/10/17:

Wednesday, 4/12/17

ELA: Remember that final projects are due on Friday, 4/28. no projects will be accepted after 4/28! More than enough class time and time at home was given.

Although there is no mandatory “written” HW for the break, all students are required to read 45 minutes each nigh and create a reading log on loose leaf. The log should state the book title, the date, and minutes/hours read per day. Reading logs will be collected on Monday 4/24.

Religion – Be sure that you are keeping up with your Lenten Reflections in your religion notebooks!

Tuesday, 4/11:

6-1 Math

  1.  Finish “Go Math” pages 273-274; #s 13-16 if you did not finish them in class.  DO NOT FORGET “LET” STATEMENTS!!!
  2. Finish Assessment 1, Book 3; #s 57, 58, 60, 62, 63, 64.  All work needs to be done inside your test prep booklet!!!  NO LOOSE LEAF!!!

Monday, 4/10:

6-2 Religion:  Finish the Easter handout…make sure you elaborate when answering the three questions and be sure to color the bottom of the page.

Keep up with your Lenten reflections!  These will be collected after Easter Recess!!!

Science:  Get your Chemical Reactions test signed and return tomorrow.

SS: – finish cause/effect question on page 179.

6-1 Math:  “Go Math” page 272; #s 7 and 8.  ALL WORK SHOULD BE COMPLETED ON LOOSE LEAF PAPER!  BE SURE TO INCLUDE “LET” STATEMENTS IN YOUR EXPRESSIONS!

6-2 Math:  “Go Math” pages 273-274; #s 10-16.  BE SURE TO INCLUDE “LET” STATEMENTS IN YOUR EXPRESSIONS!

ELA: Final novel project is due Friday, April 28th! This will be the final due date. Projects will not be accepted after this date. You should be dedicating time at home (as I mentioned in class!) to this assignment. In addition, we have had numerous class periods for you to work on this. Please manage your time wisely!!!

6-1 Math:  ***DUE MONDAY, APRIL 10TH***

  1.   Finish today’s classwork on loose leaf paper if you did not finish in class. (Page 270; “You Turn” #s     1-3; Page 271; “You Turn” #s 4-9)
  2.   Complete the handout.  All work should be done on loose leaf paper in the same way that we did the     examples in class.

6-2 Math:  ***DUE MONDAY, APRIL 10TH***

Wednesday 4/5:

Science:  Study for the Chemical Reactions test!!!  Make sure you know all topics and ideas from the review sheet we made in class.  If you missed something, look under “Science Resources” on this page and click on the link for a copy of the review sheet.

Math:  Complete “Go Math” pages 167-168; #s 34-41.  Remember, you do NOT need to evaluate the expressions!

ELA: Finish reading Chapter 10 of “city” book, and complete the target sheet.

*Reminder: End of novel project final due date is Friday, April 28th!

-For numbers 1-9, you are only writing the phrase as an expression…YOU SHOULD NOT SIMPLIFY IT!  NO LOOSE LEAF NEEDED FOR THIS PART!!!

-YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO #s 10-15!  You may TRY them if you are feeling up to a challenge!
