I have been teaching science and STEM for 25+ years in both formal and museum classrooms. I have worked as a teacher at the NY Hall of Science as well as the American Museum of Natural History. I was born and raised in Queens and now live in Nassau county.
I attended Stuyvesant HS and went on to StonyBrook University where I received my BS in Physics/Astronomy. While working at the NY Hall of Science I received my MS from Queens College in Secondary Education. Just recently I attended NYU where I was pursuing my PhD in Science Teaching and Learning. I am certified as a NYC teacher and with NYSED. I also have a certification in AstroEd from the Harvard/Smithsonian Astro program. I am First Lego League certified from NYU Poly and a drone certified instructor from STEAM drones.
