Pope Francis Society Spring Newsletter

April 27, 2026

We are excited to share all the wonderful things happening with the Pope Francis Society!

Our Jump for the Heart fundraiser and are proud to share that we raised $202 for the American Heart Association. Thank you to all the families who supported this important cause and helped promote heart awareness in our school community.

In February, we completed our Self-Love Campaign. Students who filled out their Self-Love Cards received special Self-Love Pins. This activity helped students recognize their strengths, practice positive self-talk, and celebrate what makes them unique. We are very proud of their efforts!

In March, teachers distributed a checklist of good deeds. As students completed each act of kindness, they colored and cut out a butterfly to hang on their classroom door. These butterflies will remind us that small acts of kindness can grow and spread throughout our school community.

Our Goody Bag Collection for our local police, fire department, and post office was amazing. This month, we will take a community walk to deliver the bags and thank these helpers for their dedication and hard work.

In April, our Good Deed Council traveled to Lake Como, Italy for the 2026 Summit, where they met students from around the world. Together, they shared the good deeds they are doing in their schools and exchanged ideas to bring back to their own communities.
