About Me

My name is Christina Collins, and I bring a deep commitment to nurturing student growth through inclusive and individualized learning. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Special Education from C.W. Post. I began my teaching career in the Islip Public Schools, where I taught Kindergarten and served as a Resource Room teacher for grades one through eight.I later broadened my expertise by specializing in early intervention and working closely with young children to support their developmental and academic needs. I believe every child can reach their fullest potential when given a safe, supportive, and challenging environment—one that encourages risk-taking and fosters a love of learning.I am thrilled to be a part of the Learning Lab team and the Divine Wisdom Catholic Academy family.
